Join us this summer for three friendly, free 5k walks led by Annie (Bath 5k Map), Zosia, Jen and Steph – as part of the Big BaNES 100k Challenge!

We’re bringing people together to move for a good cause – supporting two brilliant local youth charities: Mentoring Plus and Off The Record. Whether you want to walk with company, add some kilometres to your own 100k total, or just support a fantastic community initiative – you’re warmly invited.

Upcoming Walks

Each walk will follow a beautiful route from the Bath 5k Map collection (route details to be announced closer to the time):

  • Weds 30 July @ 6pm - Walk 38 Weston to Kelston Round Hill

  • Tues 19 August @ 6pm - Walk 29 Bath City Farm

  • Thurs 28 August @ 6pm - Walk 10 Bushey Norward to Bathampton Down

Open to everyone – no sign-up needed

Optional donations via our fundraiser page go directly to Mentoring Plus & Off The Record

Walk one or all three! Every 5k walked helps us reach our collective goal of 100km

What’s the Big BaNES 100k?

The Big BaNES 100k is a flexible challenge open to anyone who wants to walk, run, cycle, swim (or mix it up!) to complete 100km between now and Friday 26 September 2025.

Launched in 2024, the campaign raised over £6,500 in its first year – and this year, with your help, we’re aiming even higher. Every pound raised supports local 5–25 year-olds facing tough challenges, helping them build confidence, improve wellbeing, and feel supported through mentoring, counselling, and positive activities

Whether you’re walking solo, joining one of our group events, or fundraising with friends or colleagues – you’re helping to make a real difference.
